Easy yogurt pie (cake)

  • 300gr greek yogurt
  • 2-2 1/2 cups of all purpose flour
  • 1/2 ts baking soda
  • 1 - 1 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 1 cup of fresh butter lightly melted
  • 3-4 eggs
  • 1 ts vanilla powder


  1. Beat butter with sugar, gradually adding the eggs and vanilla. Add the yogurt and continue beating until you get a well blended mixture.

  2. Mix the baking soda with the flour. Pour the flour into the yogurt mixture and beat it until you come up with a soft dough.

  3. Brush with butter a medium-size baking dish. Spread the cake dough inside and bake at 170-180° C for 40-45'. Let the yogurt pie cool, before cutting.
