Salad with pears and walnuts

  • 200g spinach, or any other type of green
  • 2 spring onions, chopped
  • 100g walnuts, roughly chopped
  • 2 pears, sliced
  • 150g gorgonzola, crumbled
  • For the dressing:
  • 200ml cream
  • 2tbsp sunflower or sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp mustard
  • 1tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp chopped parsley


    1. Roast the walnuts in a nonstick pan. To a bowl add the salad leaves, pears, spring onions, gorgonzola, and mix. 

    2. In a blender, mix the oil, mustard, lemon juice and cream, and pour over the salad. Sprinkle with the roasted walnuts and serve.
