5 recipes for fish batter

1. Beer batter 

Ingredients: 
2 cups flour 
1 cup beer
1/2 tsp baking soda 

Directions: 
Mix the beer, flour, and baking soda until you have a smooth batter. 

2. Ouzo batter

Ingredients: 
2 cups flour
1 cup milk
1/2 tsp baking soda
3-4 tbsp ouzo

Directions:
Dissolve the baking soda in the milk, then add the flour. Add the ouzo and mix using a fork until smoothand thick

3. Egg and milk batter

Ingredinets: 
1½ cup flour 
150ml milk
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 beaten egg

Directions: 
Dissolve the soda in the milk and add the flour. Add the egg and mix until smooth and thick. 

 

 

4. Corn flour batter by Lefteris Lazarou

Ingredients:
150g corn flour
300g flour
620 ml beer

Directions
Mix the beer, flour, and corn flour until smooth and thick. 

 

5. Yeast batter by Akis Petretzikis

Ingredients:
500ml water at room temperature
500g flour
1 can beer at room temperature 
4 sachets dried yeast
salt
1 ½ tsp sugar


Directions
Mix the water, beet, yeast and sugar. In a separate bowl, mix the flour and salt, then add to the beer mixture. Mix well. Cover for 1-2 hours before using.
