  • 1kg, minced meat (veal)
  • 4 slices stale bread previously soaked in water or milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 finely chopped onion
  • 1 finely chopped tomato
  • 2 tbs finely chopped parsley
  • 1 clove of garlic finely chopped
  • 2 tsp oregano
  • 4 tbs olive oil
  • salt
  • pepper


  1. Squeeze the bread well to remove moisture. Knead the minced meat with the bread and onion so that the ingredients are well blended. Add the eggs, the tomato, the parsley, the garlic, three tablespoons of oil, the oregano, salt and pepper and continue to knead. Let the mixture rest in the fridge for 2 hours.

  2. Make 12 burgers. Lay the burgers on an oiled tin and cook for 50 minutes until they have browned. (You can also add potatoes among the patties, but you must add more oil and a bit of water before cooking in the oven.)
