Tips

Originally a delicious Russian recipe, combining beef with mushrooms and a slightly tart cream. Its history can be traced to the beginning of the 19th century. It has travelled all over the world, and is particularly popular in Greece. Many variations of the recipe can now be found all over Europe and America - sometimes with tomato added to the sauce.
